For an average person, marketing means promoting their products. Promotion is one of the components of marketing. Marketing is more than just promoting the products. Without understanding your target audience, building trust or a relationship with them you cannot succeed.

Many people believe that marketing is all about selling the product to a broader audience. They believe that marketing starts after the creation of a product. But that’s not always the case. Marketing always starts before creating the product. You have to understand the consumers and their needs.
If you research your market well you will come up with the perfect products for your consumers. You just have to send the right message, to the right person, at the right time to sell your products.
Another thing to remember is that marketing doesn’t end after selling the products. You have to nurture your leads, keep your customers happy, communicate with them so that they become valuable customers for your brand for a lifetime.

Let’s talk about the difference between traditional and digital marketing. What’s the difference between these two and what should you choose? In simple terms, digital marketing means using digital channels for marketing communication such as websites, search engines, social media, etc. On the other hand, traditional marketing means using offline channels for marketing communication such as TV ads, billboards, printed media, etc. The main difference between these two is the medium through which the audience sees the marketing message.

Wealth = n^CATT (here ‘^’ denotes power). This is the ultimate formula for wealth generation in marketing. Here ’n’ stands for Niche, ‘C’ stands for Content, ‘A’ stands for Attention, ‘T’ stands for Trust, and the last ‘T’ stands for Transaction. Let’s discuss the funnel a little more to understand it properly.
[n] Niche = Your success depends on the niche you choose. Niche is the combination of your Passion, Talent, and Market. Many people will say you should always choose the niche in which you are passionate. But that’s not always the case. If you choose a niche in which you have a talent and you are passionate also but there is no market for that niche, then you will not succeed in it.
Similarly, if you choose a niche in which you are passionate and have a market but don’t have any talent or a niche in which you have talent and market also but don’t have any passion then you will end up frustrating yourself. Look for the specific area where your talent, passion, and market all combine.
[C] Content = Content is king. Your every digital marketing effort will fail if you don’t have quality content for your consumers. Your content should be able to attract your customers. Create original and useful blog posts, videos, emails, etc.
[A] Attention = You have chosen your niche and made useful content. Now you have to drive traffic to your website. Without traffic or visitors, you can’t build trust and ultimately can’t monetize your website. There are many ways you can drive traffic to your content like Search Engine Optimization, Social Media, Paid Ads, Referrals, etc.
[T] Trust = You got visitors but they are not converting. Why? Because they don’t trust you yet. Visitors will not convert into customers the first time they visit your website. You have to build trust with them. For example, think about yourself, when purchasing something online you will prefer Amazon over a website you visited the first time. It’s because you trust Amazon, you trust this brand, you know this brand well. Similarly, you have to build trust with your visitors. Posting regularly, marketing automation, communicate with them on social media, retargeting, are some of the examples with which you can build trust with your audience.
[T] Transaction = After you build trust with your audience, it’s time for the transaction part. Whatever business you’re into you have to convert your leads into customers to make a profit. Without profit, you can’t sustain. This is why building trust is necessary. If the customers trust you they will not hesitate to take products or services from you. They will make the transaction.

Earlier I mentioned that content is king. In this section, you will know why.
